Director of Sales Marketing

• Prepare implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan monthly reporting annual goals sales and marketing budget forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
  
• Analyze monthly P&L and monthend reports identify deviation from business plan goals.
  
• Work with Finance and team in preparation and management of the department s budget and financial forecasts.
  
• Participate in management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan related for the department.
  
• Conduct daily briefings with the department to discuss ongoing key activities.
  
• Oversee and supervise all group transient and catering/banquet sales efforts to optimize revenue generation for the hotel.
  
• Examine assess and analyze competition market trends and customer feedback to proactively adapt to business intelligence and stay ahead of industry developments.
  
• Assess the effectiveness of existing programs and formulate new strategies as needed.
  
• Direct all advertising public relations and promotional activities in collaboration with corporate marketing and public relations departments.
  
• Actively engage in sales presentations property tours and customer meetings.
  
• Evaluate shifts in guest needs the guest mix and competitive landscape to propose suitable product/service and operational adjustments when necessary.
  
• Participate in community and professional organizations to maintain a strong presence and foster a positive image.
  
• Conduct interviews make selections and recruit individuals for direct reporting positions.
  
• Recognize and nurture team members exhibiting potential for development.
  
• Perform performance reviews and address any performance issues within the management team.
  
• Continuously observe the performance attitude and professionalism of team members.
  
• Collaborate with the Talent & Culture function to ensure suitable hiring training motivation coaching counseling and development of team members aligned with evolving business requirements.
  
• Facilitate monthly meetings within the department.
  
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of hotel fire and life safety/emergency procedures.
  
• Participate in all briefings meetings and training sessions assigned by management.
  
• Uphold a consistently high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
  
• Stay informed about the hotels fire and life safety/emergency procedures.
  
• Fulfill other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
  

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor s Degree from a wellregarded hospitality school.
  
• Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales management or a track record of at least 2 years in a comparable role.
  
• Exhibit a high level of professionalism coupled with a robust understanding of global markets and business acumen.
  
• Showcase proficient reading writing and oral skills in the English language.
  
• Have expertise in using MS Excel Word and PowerPoint.
  
• Display robust leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Possess outstanding communication and customer interaction skills.
