Job Summary We areseeking an experienced Radiation Protection Consultant to join ourEnvironmental Protection Department. This role is essential inguiding and improving our operations related to ionizing radiationprotection. As a key member of our team you will contribute yourexpertise in a dynamic and challenging environment. Responsibilities : • Provide consultancy on all aspects of ionizingradiation protection pertinent to company operations. • Monitor compliance in the use of radiation sources andoperations involving Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials(NORM). • Identify and implement innovativetechnologies to enhance radiation protection. • Review approve and monitor radiation protectionprocedures encompassing both manmade and natural radiationsources. • Conduct awareness and trainingsessions on radiation protection issues. • Develop methods and procedures for NORM wasteoperations. • Establish standards procedures andguidelines for manmade radiation sources and NORMoperations. • Engage in applied research forNORM handling and disposal. • Assess potentialrisks related to workers exposure and disposal of NORMwaste. • Train and develop radiation protectionprofessionals within the company. Requirements : • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dammam SaudiArabia. • BSc in Health Physicsor a related science discipline. • Minimum of 10years of experience in operational radiation protection and healthphysics. • Profound knowledge of radiationdetection and measurement radiometric analysis techniquesinternational radiation protection standards operational radiationprotection controls radiation dosimetry regimes andmanagement / control of NORM.
