This is a remote position.
SUMMARY
As a Senior IT Engineer you will be responsible for executing established corporate policies to assist clients and designing and implementing largescale solutions. Reporting directly to the IT Director or secondarily to the Service Delivery Manager you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple areas driving complex issues to completion regardless of complexity. Acceptable response and completion times will be determined by management based on workload and you may be on call one week quarterly on average. The job requires effective work amid frequent interruptions multitasking in a fastpaced environment and collaborative teamwork with other staff members to coordinate tasks between technicians and engineers as needed. Your role will also involve efficient communication with customers and staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide highquality technical customer support.
- Serve as an escalation point for IT engineers.
- Drive complex tickets to completion without escalation.
- Perform both onsite and remote technical engagements.
- Responsible for being on call one week quarterly on average.
- Work effectively with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Work as part of a team with other staff including coordinating tasks between technicians and engineers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced Windows Server administration (DNS DHCP Active Directory etc.)
- Advanced Windows Server solution design and implementation
- Advanced O365 administration and troubleshooting
- Advanced Azure administration and troubleshooting
- Advanced O365 and Azure solution design and implementation
- Server hardware scoping and installation
- Advanced Networking Troubleshooting
- Advanced VMware administration and troubleshooting
- Extensive vendor management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Should be willing to accept a longterm workfromhome arrangement.
- Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule
