• Develop and deliver writing workshops on various topics related to academic writing and research
  
• Provide individual writing consultations to students, including feedback on drafts and assistance with writing strategies
  
• Create resources and tools to support student learning, such as handouts, guides, and online tutorials
  
• Collaborate with other academic support services to integrate writing support into overall student services
  
• Keep up-to-date with best practices in academic writing and research, and share this information with students and staff.

Requirements

• Masters degree in a relevant field such as English, Writing, or Education
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic writing and research, preferably in a higher education setting
  
• Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Experience developing and delivering writing workshops and providing writing consultations
  
• Familiarity with citation styles and academic research methods
  
• Passion for helping students succeed in their academic pursuits
