The Person

• Bachelors Degree in IT (or equivalent IT related knowledge)
• Significant application support experience
• Indepth IT project management experience
• Proficiency in Windows/Microsoft operating systems and applications (Desktop and Server components)
• General Networking knowledge and experience
• Advanced knowledge of company supported applications with the ability to learn and support new applications
• Experience in troubleshooting for software hardware and network issues
• Experienced business relationship management

The Job

As the IT Manager youll be at the forefront of:

• Identifying and communicating the latest IT trends ensuring user satisfaction and presenting recommendations to the Senior Management Team.
• Building strong business relationships troubleshooting with IT administrators and external service providers and liaising to resolve issues.
• Developing implementing and communicating the Cyber Security strategy.
• Training users on IT applications and ensuring the efficiency of platforms and applications.
• Overseeing IT asset management including vessels and office assets.
• Handling staff on and offboarding seamlessly.
• Ensuring consistency in hardware/software acquisitions.
• Making recommendations on software purchases policies procedures and documentation.
• Providing expert advice on hardware needs.
• Other duties within your expertise and function
