Senior Software Tester

Cloudstreet Consulting is seeking an experienced Analyst Programmer for its Client, the NTG, to develop enhancements to the Northern Territory Government s HR Information System called PIPS (Personnel Integrated Payroll system), to meet new business requirements. PIPS (also known as NOMAD) executes on an IBM mainframe platform that interfaces via EntireX to a .NET web front end. The resource will work with a small team of C# .Net / Web Applications / SQL Server developers and analysts plus engage as required with other Adabas Natural technical specialists that provide ongoing support services.

Deliverables

• Provide analyst programming services to develop and deliver robust application solution in accordance with the approved software development lifecycle and technology toolsets.
  
• Gather and analyse business and technical requirements, develop and deliver technical specifications, systems design and operational support documentation.
  
• Liaise with peer Analyst Programmers, functional specialists and other technical/user staff to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  
• Comply with information technology architecture, policies, procedures, governance and standards.
  

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Information Technology Qualifications and/or Human Resource Management System experience is highly desirable.
