The Right Candidate Will

• Have a background in journalism and 3 or more years' experience in editorial management roles that involved significant analysis and content development
• Have a passion for our mission to support and promote credible, independent and public interest journalism
• Be expert in, and passionate about, hard news and current affairs
• Have a broad familiarity with popular news interests across sports, entertainment, money, culture etc
• Be confident about helping to shape our editorial stance and the content we feature on the site, with a good and up-to-date grasp of media law
• Have a keen awareness of issues relating to bias in the media, such as how ownership, revenue sources, regulation and systemic bias can affect the output of publications, particularly those that represent the mainstream in the UK and US
• Have excellent people-management and communication skills, capable of clear and efficient communication via messaging and calls
