- Internal Audit leads and conducts various types of audits and control reviews in accordance with accepted professional standards to determine the adequacy of internal controls, efficiency of the policies and procedures and ensures adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Performs complex operational, compliance, financial, and investigative audits and provides management advisory services.

Errors made in this position can cause substantial expense and affect the accuracy and value of an audit.

Manages the performs of Internal Audit reviews for the departments and its entities, including risk identification, to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, and contracts.
