Clinical Nurse - Dermatology

• Shift: Day:810hours Monday to Friday 40 hours/week
  
• Work Location: Onsite; Palo Alto CA
  

• Assists with supporting physicians with their inperson clinics by drawing up medications assisting with in office procedures (skin biopsies excisions ED&C nail injections Botox injections etc) provides inbasket management for patient messages assists with other nurse led visits like phototherapy photodynamic therapy patch testing injection teaching and suture removals.
  
• Administer prescribed treatments medications and therapies for dermatological conditions.
  
• Educate patients on their skin condition treatment options and preventive measures.
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records including medical history assessments treatments and followup care.
  
• Schedule and conduct followup appointments to monitor treatment effectiveness and assess any changes in the patients condition.
  
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  
• Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious skin conditions.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited academic institution. (preferred)
  

• Preferred dermatology/oncology background ambulatory outpatient clinic experience is also helpful
  

• RN Registered Nurse State Licensures And/Or Compact State Licensures
  
• BLS Basic Life Support
