الوصف الوظيفي
We re searching for an innovative electrically biased maintenance engineer to join our team and help grow our business. Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker who s quick to analyse a problem and even quicker to work toward the solution.
Objectives of this Role
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with business needs and safety standards
- Monitor maintenance and inspection plans
- Project Work on Print machinery
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Respond appropriately to unexpected and/or continuing situations which develop in the work environment. Ensure prompt attention and resolution of conditions that impact the business.
- Schedule machine time with Production in order to perform repairs or planned maintenance to equipment and may secure necessary materials and parts for the scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
- Assess breakdowns prioritise and take appropriate corrective action. Provide technical assistance to ensure shortest possible machine downtime.
- Order required parts follow up orders and follow up where required.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum HNC or City & Guilds level 4 or equivalent (Technical Certificate etc.)
- Time served apprenticeship
- Ability to fault find identify root cause and prevent reoccurrence of issues quickly is also essential
- Capable of working unsupervised or within a team
- Conversant with the use of machine tools
- AC DC & Servo Drive Experience
- Good communicator
Preferred Qualifications
- 18th Edition
- Knowledge of maintenance policies procedures and terms.
- Ability to undertake a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
- Knowledge of appropriate office software applications.
This role is working triple shifts.
