About Company: Our client is one of the leading financial service firms in Nigeria with operations across Africa.


The company is seeking to hire a Head of finance that will manage its growing Finance Team and work alongside and report to the CEO collaborate with the leadership team and work across all departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and overseeing the systems processes and people necessary to underpin the business finances reporting stakeholder management and delivery to the forecast revenue expense budgets and timely reporting and will also be an integral contributor to the Board and the Leadership Team as well as the strategic development of the business.


Key Responsibilities

Overseeing all financial aspects of the company and driving the company s financial strategy and planning

Setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) SaaS metrics and other objectives

Own the Accounting Function including invoicing expenses tax treasury and management accounts in multicurrency for the company across the different operational offices and locations.

Act as the principal custodian and oversight of cash forecasting; supervision of daily transactional activities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors CEO and other members of the executive team

Develop and implement short and longterm strategic plans to ensure financial sustainability

Negotiate and manage all financial contracts on behalf of the organization

Manage financial planning budgeting forecasting and reporting

Maintain banking relationships

Development and execution of the Company treasury strategy

Own board investor relations and regulatory reporting

Oversee both internal and external audits Manage equity debt and revenue financing processes

Run a bespoke cost ROI and budget analysis of products/services and departments and participate in pricing discussions

Managing a growing team with best standards OKRs 11s training and coaching Any other duties as assigned by your line manager and management



Requirements

Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in consulting and asset management/investment firm. Big 4 experience is a plus.

Experience in core financial reporting and treasury management.

Bachelor s degree in Business Economics Finance and/or ACA ACCA certification is required

Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel (financial modeling and valuations)

Excellent knowledge and experience of accounting controls tax and compliance.

Expertise in negotiating legal & contractual agreements for suppliers partners and clients

Attention to detail and handson in your approach to leadership

Fast learner techsavvy and processoriented

Solid Analytical and decisionmaking skills.

Benefits

Compensation: Base Pay is BTW N800000.00 N1200000.00 monthly net other interesting benefits
