About the role

In this role you will be leading all peoplecentered activities such as hiring training professional development performance management labor law compliance and HR operations to ensure these efforts support our growth and strategy. You will partner with the management team on a strategic level and support together with your team the organization in the execution of Cropsters people strategy.

What youll do

  • Owning and further developing the employee experience function and its process landscape including talent acquisition across all our locations
  • Developing an infrastructure and processes that enable international growth with a remotefriendly approach
  • Developing the overall shortterm to longterm people strategy and objectives and empowering your team to accomplish them
  • Supporting the headcount planning process together with CLevel members to plan and budget the organizational growth
  • Partnering proactively with management in all peoplerelated topics and driving cultural and organizational change in a fast growing environment
  • Managing labor law compliance and regulations in various locations where Cropster operates
  • Providing guidance to CLevel members and HR teams on complex labor law matters collaborating during labor negotiations to ensure compliance
  • Leading coaching and mentoring your team to the best performance
  • Manifesting our peopledriven mindset within your team and across the entire organization

We are looking for someone with

  • A proven track record in leading HR teams preferably in growing organizations in the tech industry.
  • An appetite to grow and develop your team and coach and mentor its individuals.
  • Experience working and leading within an international environment with dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Austrian and US labor law including a strong understanding of employment contracts termination procedures collective bargaining agreements and other legal aspects related to HR operations.
  • Experience in leading organizations through change.
  • A peopledriven mindset paired with entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills in English and German.
  • A passion for building great work environments with a DEI focus.
  • A data driven approach to building and evaluating strategies.
  • A strong background in project management of smallto largescale projects.
