Structural Engineer - Roads

• Understand the Road Operation and Management Department scope task and target. • Coordinate with stakeholders for executing operations and maintenance of road networks in coordination with the Management Consultants (MC)/ contractors. • Plan and program road repair works on the networks • Monitor stakeholders work schedules, set priorities, and ensure the appropriate assignment of equipment, materials, and personnel. • Administer, prioritize, and oversee major repairs on the road network, oversee assignment maintenance crews to repair networks. • Ability to undertake supervisory and inspection (for contract compliance) tasks as assigned by Lead Engineers • Work proactively with the RMD and design consultants to resolve any design related issues. • Prioritize projects and assign work to outsourced maintenance crews to repair road networks, taking into consideration criticality of work to be executed. • Ensure that incidents / emergencies reported are attended to and resolved by the maintenance contractors or in-house teams.
