Role: Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) App Development Consultant

Duration: 18 months contract, followed by a 6-month cooling period ( Full Time Contract (FTC) )

Pay rate: $13000-$14000/Month

Location: Remote (40%) with 60-70% Travel (within the USA, mostly within the candidate's time zone)

Role Overview:

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 5 Consultant (Architect/Solution Architect) for an 18-month Full-Time Contract (FTC) opportunity. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) app development and PowerApps low/no code resources. This role requires a mix of infrastructure and development skills, focusing on coaching Client's developers in a hybrid environment to set up apps for migration to Azure. The candidate will primarily work with PowerApps Model-Driven and Canvas, emphasizing structured data models (Dataverse) and Azure migration support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) App Development: Utilize your expertise in PCF to develop and enhance applications, ensuring seamless migration to Azure.

2. PowerApps Development: Lead the development using PowerApps Model-Driven and Canvas, relying on structured data models (Dataverse) for efficient application creation.

3. Infrastructure Support: Act as a liaison between infrastructure and development teams, offering coaching and support to developers in setting up apps for Azure migration.

4. Hybrid Environment Collaboration: Work closely with Client's developers in a hybrid environment, guiding them in PCF on Azure, and offering expertise in app development.

5. Remote and Onsite Work: Comfortably work remotely (40%) and travel within the USA (60-70%), with travel expenses covered by Persistent Systems.

6. Self-Reliant Consulting: Demonstrate self-sufficiency and autonomy in handling tasks without extensive senior support, showcasing Level 4 or 5 consulting capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Level 5 Consulting Experience: Extensive experience as an Architect/Solution Architect, specifically in PCF app development and PowerApps.

• Pivotal Cloud Foundry Expertise: Proficiency in PCF app development, including migration and optimization for Azure.

• PowerApps Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PowerApps Model-Driven and Canvas, emphasizing structured data models (Dataverse) for application development.

• Hybrid Environment Experience: Previous experience collaborating with developers in a hybrid environment, facilitating Azure migration processes.

• Consulting Skills: Exceptional consulting skills, showcasing self-reliance and capability to handle tasks independently.

• Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel within the USA (60-70%) and work remotely (40%).

Compensation:

The compensation for this position will be discussed on a monthly basis, ensuring that the candidate is paid consistently throughout the 18-month contract, even if there is a possibility of non-working duration (15-20% of the project). The compensation includes vendor margin and covers all travel expenses, such as airfare, hotel accommodation, meals, and transportation.
