Job Summary:

As a User Experience Designer focused on internal company tools, you will be responsible for enhancing the usability, functionality, and overall user experience of digital tools used by employees within the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to design and optimize these tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights and understand the needs, pain points, and preferences of internal users.
• Information Architecture: Create logical and intuitive information structures and navigation flows to ensure that internal tools are easy to navigate.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts and ideas effectively.
• UI Design: Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, consistent with the company's brand guidelines, and user-friendly.
• Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and make data-driven design improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure that user experience goals are aligned with business objectives.
• Accessibility: Ensure that internal tools comply with company defined accessibility standards
• Documentation: Create design specifications, guidelines, and documentation for developers to implement design solutions accurately.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Proven experience in UX/UI design, preferably with a focus on internal tools.

Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

Strong understanding of usability principles, user-centered design, and design thinking.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of front-end development and coding languages (HTML, CSS, etc.) is a plus.

Optional Skills:

Experience with design systems and pattern libraries.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Knowledge of prototyping tools like InVision or Proto.io.
