Project Manager Civil Engineering

Commercial Development Resources (CDR) is a development partner that provides solutions to its clients in the form of civil engineering, surveying, dry utility services, and entitlement services.

They are looking for a Civil Engineer Project Manager (Private Land Development) with a focus on commercial and high-density residential projects.

Schedule & Company Vibe:

In-Office (no hybrid. no remote)

Casual dress code and flexible in-office start time with the opportunity to work 4 - 9's and half day on Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of designers (team of 20); communicate needs of client and company
• Manage projects (ie: High-Density Residential, Shopping Centers, Auto Dealerships, Gas Stations, Amusement Parks, and QSR developments)
• Establish and oversee design criteria while following general design standards
• Lead a team of associate and design engineers with an efficient and effective problem-solving management style
• Establish project parameters that ensure prompt and quality plans that are delivered on time.
• Work directly with the Principal to produce accurate and competitive proposals and business development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California (or soon to get)
• Expert in AutoCad / Civil 3D d
• Excellent ability to prepare grading plans, utility plans, and site plans
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
• Meets demanding deadlines
• 5-10 years experience in land development - includes design and permits!
