Head of Secondary

This is a remote position.

Role:

Role Responsibilities :

• Engaging and motivating team by regular 1x1
  

• Create opportunities for team to enhance their skills (training plans, growth plans etc)
  

• Creating, owning and adopting new engineering practices; enhancing software development methodologies
  

• Working closely with the predict managers and architects to continuously focus on performance and scalability of the product
  

• Continuous engagement with product teams to ensure team capacity to support ongoing roadmap items, either by upskilling of existing resources or hiring from outside
  

• Align with the product team for quarterly deliveries, balancing tech debt with roadmap items
  

• Improve and enhance product delivery by removing any frictions or by suggesting process improvements
  

• Own delivery for major tech/ product initiatives, coordinate proactively with key stakeholders
  

• Performance review of the entire dev team including on quarterly/ yearly basis and provide ongoing feedback for improvements
  

Requirements :

• 10+ years of total IT experience, demonstrable interest in working for Tec4Dev technologies
  

• Proven experience in building and managing engineering teams
  

• Extremely good communication and interpersonal skills
  

• Deep knowledge and understanding of engineering processes and development methodologies such as Scrum, also tools similar to Trello, Linear, Notion, etc
  

• Good experience in working with technologies such as Nodejs, Mongodb, Reactjs, Redux
  

• Knowledge of DevOps and cloud platform such as AWS is a plus
