Finance Manager

Report into the Finance Director - MET, the key purpose of this role is to: • This is a senior role in the MET finance team and local Qatar SLT. • Job holder will take financial ownership for the Qatar business entity providing support and challenge to local and regional leadership teams. • The job holder will manager a team of 2 FTEs in Qatar, who will assist with all reconciliations, general ledger, and reporting activities. • Drafting high quality outputs for the key stakeholders (GM, CD, finance team) on month end reporting, forecasts, budgets and key issues and by doing so providing the senior management team with insight on key opportunities and challenges to inform decision making. • Ensure all regulatory reporting requests from QCB are adhered to • Finance manager will become the in country lead from finance perspective for new Ledger system to replace current system. • Review of contract and rental agreements to ensure accounting is correctly administered and payments made accordingly • Manager financial impact from localized projects and conjunction with Finance Director and FP&A Manager (such as VAT implementation and other projects when they arise) Key tasks in the role
