Leading designer and producer of contemporary fixtures for high end domestic and hospitality markets seeks a Vice President of Sales - North America (30% Travel, Otherwise Remote).
As a trusted, dynamic and continually growing supplier with an extensive range complements every aspect of luxury living and hospitality, from bedrooms and bathrooms to living areas, corridors and exteriors and can be seen within luxury design projects across the globe.
You will report to our Global Head of Sales and be an important part of the strategy in delivering significant Sales and Profit growth for the US.
Responsibilities:
- Define, agree and implement the USA sales strategy
- Lead the USA commercial team, which comprises of regional sales managers to ensure that company-wide objectives are met
- Develop personal relationships at VP/Director with key designers, specifiers, architects, hotel operators and property developers, to capitalize on opportunities for project sales
- Develop strategies to effectively develop the national wholesale channel to aid the project go-to-market
- Work with the Marketing team to develop new marketing material and communications where required
- Be the interface between specifier, project customer and contractor. Effectively manage the pricing co-ordination between all project stakeholders.
- Act as the CRM champion within the region to ensure accurate, actionable and timely project data and reporting
- In coordination with the Global E-commerce Key account Manager utilize the e-commerce platforms in USA to deliver B2B sales where appropriate
- Participate in major meetings and trade events to develop relationships with top customers: Investors, Designers, Architects, Planners, General Contractors, and other important stakeholders in the Hospitality, Residential, Maritime and Healthcare segments
- Manage and meet or exceed challenging sales and financial targets
- Responsibility to deliver the annual regional sales budget
- Responsibility for year-over-year double digit growth
- Driving and manages all reps, responsible for sales and booking number and P&L
- Responsible for all US employees performance and development.
- Has the responsibility for rep performance and rep decisions.
- Specification pipeline and quote follow up.
- Be an active member of senior leadership team in developing and
executing business development strategy both in North america and globally
- Make use of technology to ensure that processes are as efficient as possible
whilst offering great customer service levels across customer base and supporting
direct shipment to the customer where required.
- Ensure that the company manages its costs in accordance with best
practice and budgets
- Manage operations staff including all aspects of performance management.
- Be capable of identifying and delivering specific projects to add value to
the company with the use of project management Techniques working across
the company as needed to achieve goals.
Qualifications
- 10 years Sales & Management experience
- Previous experience working in fixtures/hospitality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use independent judgment.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
