Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Are you a natural problem-solver Quality Engineer with six sigma and ISO 9001 experience?

Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer who will drive process improvement and implement quality control for existing and new products. The candidate select will have the following qualifications:

• PPAP and FAI approval process experience
• Ability to develop and analyze statistical data and identify product issues
• Track non-conforming materials and lead corrective action and quality improvements
• Internal auditing of quality system experience

Requirements:

• BS degree in quality engineering or related degree. Will consider experience in lieu of degree.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality Engineering in manufacturing
• Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, 8D etc
• ISO 9001 required; advanced QMS such as AS 9100 or IATF 16489 is preferred
• Minitab experience a plus along with corrective action experience
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, optical comparators needed
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, outlook)

Salary range: 80-100k DOE
