Transportation Engineer

HireFocus Recruiting is partnering with a wonderful organization in north central Indiana to find a talented Transportation Engineer for multiple locations.

In this role as a Transportation Engineer, you will manage, organize, design, and execute highways, roadway, and other Civil Engineering projects for INDOT. Provide engineering design and support for a variety of transportation design projects including roadway reconstruction and overlay, bridge approaches, multi-use paths, storm sewers, traffic signals, sidewalk ramps, guardrail, pavement marking and signing, and right of way plans. Develops plans, specifications and estimates based on current INDOT plan requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of highway design (all components of alignment and geometrics), based on INDOT and AASHTO road design manuals.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural or Transportation
• Preference given to IN Licensed PE.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and the ability to read Civil Engineering and Architectural drawings.
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D including 3D modeling. Hydrocad and SWMM preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills as position will require direct contact with multidisciplinary team and clients.

Salary range: $90-130k DOE
