Remote Cruise Line Booking Advisor

Position Overview:

The Cruise Line Booking Advisor is a specialized role within the cruise industry responsible for managing reservations, guest designations, and ensuring that passengers have an exceptional booking experience. This position focuses on providing personalized service, coordinating guest preferences, and optimizing onboard experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reservation Management: Oversee the reservation process for cruise bookings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely confirmations.
  

• Guest Designation Coordination: Work closely with guests to gather information on preferences, special requests, and designations for accommodations, dining, and activities.
  

• Personalized Service: Provide personalized assistance to guests, tailoring cruise experiences to their preferences, including cabin selection, dining options, and onboard activities.
  

• Communication: Act as a liaison between guests and cruise line staff, ensuring that all designations and requests are communicated accurately and promptly.
  

• Itinerary Planning: Collaborate with guests to create personalized cruise itineraries, highlighting excursions, onboard entertainment, and other activities based on their interests.
  

• Group Bookings: Manage group reservations, coordinating designations and preferences for larger parties and ensuring seamless group experiences.
  

• Designation Execution: Liaise with onboard departments to execute guest designations effectively, such as special requests for anniversaries, birthdays, or dietary restrictions.
  

• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts related to reservations or guest designations promptly and professionally.
  

• Upselling Opportunities: Identify opportunities for upselling and promoting cruise line amenities, such as specialty dining, spa services, or shore excursions.
  

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of reservations, guest preferences, and designations.
  

• Guest Feedback: Collect and analyze guest feedback to improve the reservation continuously and designation process.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must Be at least 18 YOA
  

• Must have legal authorization to work in the USA.
  

• A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
  

• Proven experience in cruise line reservations, guest services, or a similar role.
  

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  

• Proficiency in reservation management systems and cruise line software.
  

• Effective communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving.
  

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  

• Flexibility to adapt to changing guest preferences and cruise line policies.
