Purpose of Position:
The Development Manager plays a crucial role in Engineering and is directly answerable to the Vice President of This person manages a worldwide development group and is the ultimate accountable party for all development The Development Manager oversees the development process, making sure that it leads to the delivery of high-quality They must collaborate with the team to establish and keep track of an internal workload list that includes tasks such as technical debt, internal tools, frameworks,
Role Responsibilities:
- Taking part in Agile development projects as
- Working hand-in-hand with the team to continuously enhance the product and the delivery
- Responsible for internal documentation and contributing to the weekly team task
- Providing support in release scheduling, helping with staffing efforts and Facilitating daily team
- Managing the internal Engineering workload (such as Technical debt/maintenance, Internal tools, and Frameworks).
- Providing regular reports to the senior management team (including Defect Reports, Team Time Reports, and Key Performance Indicator Reports).
- Supervise the development team by:
- Conveying weekly objectives to the team
- Facilitating regular individual meetings
- Conducting periodic performance and Key Performance Indicator assessments
- Ensuring that each team member has a personal development plan in
- Conduct a weekly review of defects and support tickets to:
- Assess all defects to improve testing coverage and automation Root Cause Analysis
- Conduct regular team review
- Provide training and acclimate new team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant degree, diploma or certifications
Relevant Skills / Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing development
- A minimum of 10 years of development
- Working experience within an Agile
- Proficiency in Jira is a
- Demonstrated technical abilities and experience in leading teams to produce high-quality
- A proven track record of delivering results in an enterprise software
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal
Driving / Travel Requirements:
- Must hold a current valid driver s license and
- International travel could be required from time to
