PSPD provides strategic thinking, for power investment planning cycles, market development and generation mix decisions. In your primary role you will be responsible for Joint Venture project management and development to financial close. You will be the expert contract negotiator and manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
- Originate and evaluate the feasibility of projects from conceptual to business case development.
- Provide the analytical and modeling capabilities to support financial and technical assessments for projects development and work with stakeholders across the company.
- Develop RFPs for projects. Provide experience in structuring agreements, commercial payment schemes and technical basic design features for any type of power generation plants. Review and asses complicated BOO and BOOT proposal
- structures.
- After financial close, act as a liaison for Power Systems during the construction phase until commissioning.
- From commissioning, manage all commercial agreements and analyze the performance of thermal plant technologies, prepare energy forecasts and determine optimum efficiency targets.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- As the successful candidate you must hold a Bachelor s degree in engineering.
- You should have at least 15 years of work experience in power plant planning, project and business development and performance studies.
- You need to have a good understanding of the global power market, regulatory development, privatization activities and future projections.
- In addition, experience in cogeneration/CHP specifically is preferred.
- Experience in refining, gas plants, gasification technologies and design programs like thermoflow or equivalent, is also highly desirable.
- You should be able to demonstrate experience in business development skills, planning and organizing engineering functions in power plants, green field project installations, execution, erection, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
