Pay: $24-26.50/hr.

Hours: 5AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday

Location: Tulsa, OK

Test: 6G Mig and Stick, open root, 7018 fill and cap

Job Description: Responsibilities include participating in the manufacturing and assembly process. The Industrial Pipe Welder is required to perform pipe and welding projects in the facility, to fabricate and install steel pipes and fittings, installation of high-pressure steel gas pipes.  He /She is involved in manufacturing products in close cooperation with a team of engineers. The Pipe welder frequently works with mechanical drawings, schematics, and system flow diagrams. This function collaborates very closely with all other functions in the facility.

• Must be alert and have good manual dexterity
• Must possess good decision-making attributes regarding Quality
• Familiar with Pipeline systems, products, and processes a plus
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence others positively.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to hot and humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles typical for painting environments. The noise level exceeds the OSHA permissible noise level exposure 10-hour limit action level.  It is recommended that employees wear hearing protection.  Hearing protection is provided to all employees.  The employee must be able to see with or without prescription lenses allowing them to safely work around movement of cranes, forklifts, and any mobile machinery. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk. These activities may occur at any time of the shift. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Assistance may be requested when lifting heavy objects. This position is a “Safety-Sensitive” position as defined by HB2612 due to the tasks and duties of the job.
