- Financial ownership of the Northern regions’ legal entities and their financial statements, ensuring consistent application of accounting policies and internal controls in collaboration with world area team and various business unit finance teams.
- Preparation of the financial statements and ensure compliance with Emerson Corporate Policies and procedures and local reporting requirements.
- Report financial statements to all statutory bodies, accurately complete and in a timely manner In Kuwait and monitor the same process for Iraq and Qatar.
- File WHT returns monthly and Income tax returns annually, accurately and in a timely manner for Kuwait and monitor the same process for Iraq and Qatar.
- Provide detailed financial analysis, comparing actuals to business expectations by division and reporting any material variances thereof. This requires a good understanding of the individual business divisions, together with a focus on financial control that is implemented and adhered to.
- Preparation of quarterly accounts pack and President’s Operating Report (POR) models and reporting thereof into HQ in a timely and accurate manner, with emphasis on ensuring that all reported information is supported by a good level of analysis.
