Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Styla is changing the way brands and retailers interact with their customers digitally. Our technology enables merchants to run their store in headless mode, with split-second load times and unprecedented stability, which boosts conversion rates, especially on mobile devices. We are now bringing this technology to market, targeting small and medium businesses around the world, using the BigCommerce e-commerce platform.

For our IT-Department, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) to become part of one of our core teams and focus on further improving our highly successful automatic design technology.

Tasks

Challenges that you may solve:

• Developing, monitoring and improving our cloud Infrastructure
• Automating and orchestrating workloads
• Working closely with our engineers to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
• Mentoring and training other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes company-wide

Requirements

For this, you ideally bring:

• First experience in a comparable position
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems
• Skills in working with AWS
• A sense of responsibility and hands-on mentality

'Nice to have' would additionally be:

• Interest in web technologies such as HTML5 & CSS3 and the development of microservice infrastructures
