Sr. Full Stack Developer

Job Title: Sr. Full Stack Developer

Location: West Chester, PA as it's a hybrid work schedule. And looking for USC/GC, it's a C2H role.

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:

• Prefer local to West Chester PA area, but flexible hybrid/onsite
• Can extend wider net for talent but focus on local
• Strong communication and polish with the ability to interact with all biz stakeholders, leadership, offshore teams, etc.
• Proactive, self managed attitude -- smaller org growing rapidly, need a change agent who can hit the ground and adapt.

Skills:

• Design, develop, and deploy new features with a focus on code quality and scalability
• Be proficient in server-side development and optimization of data, including database creation and management and debugging
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces
• Create and analyze reliable and secure back-end functionality
• Maintain, expand, and scale our platform
• Remain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Collaborate with front-end developers and web designers to match visual design intent
• Collaborate closely with your squad (product manager, designers, engineers) and become a key member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
• Build and operate infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Continuously improve our product by positively influencing the product roadmap ? Work in an environment that supports your individual growth

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in computer science, software engineering, programming, or equivalent
• Solid hands-on experience (4+ years) in Node.js development
• Experience with the design and implementation of APIs
• Working knowledge of React, Typescript
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• Proficiency with languages such as Java, Ruby, PHP, MySQL, SQL, and Python ? Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines ? Comfortable working with modern infrastructure and tools
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN, Git, and Mercurial ? Understanding of code management tools such as Subversion, Git, and Helix Core
• Understanding of code deployment tools such as Jenkins, Capistrano, and ElectricFlow
• Readiness to work as part of a team of geographically distributed engineers
• Great team player spirit and love for giving and receiving feedback ? Highly motivated and self-driven; recognizing opportunities to advance your craft and profession
• Strive to implement best practices, holding a strong interest in sharing your discoveries and methodologies
• Ability to learn other coding languages as needed
