ETL/Informatica Developer with Essbase Exp.

Onsite from Day1

ETL/DW Developer in Engineering Business Intelligence team will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of extract, transform, and load (ETL) development using Informatica tool. Position requires hands-on experience in large-scale Data Integration and Date Warehousing environments. Also, provide user support for Essbase, perform operational changes whenever necessary and, participate in architectural discussions as required specific to Essbase instances. In addition, Developer will have the opportunity to consult with non-technical business customers to determine requirements and apply the business rules to the data. This individual will work closely with internal departments and counterparts during implementation and through ongoing operations. Developer will also focus on solution design based on the strategic direction of the organization's data tier.

Responsibility

Provide technical expertise in designing robust Logical Data Models and stewarding the data design of the asset and ensuring alignment with the larger roadmap goals.

Work closely with business users to determine business requirements, lead requirements gathering meetings, propose enhancements, and resolve existing design issues.

Develop and define application scope and objectives. Prepare specifications for development of Informatica based solutions for migrating data in both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments.

Essbase Developer must have hands-on implementation, development, and support experience, preferably in finance domain.

Experience in process automation, optimization, and performance tuning of Essbase application data/metadata processing, upgrading, testing, and migrating of cubes in different environments.

Create and maintain data forms, calculation scripts, and schedule jobs using batch scripts.

Impact analysis of changing upstream processes to Data Warehouse and Reporting systems and update database designs for required changes.

Responsible to coordinate and mentor a team of mid/junior level developers and ensure project deliverables are met

Provide input and expertise on architecting and designing system enhancements or creating new functionality for existing or new systems.

Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.

Create and maintain documentation.

Technical Skills

6+ years of experience in development and operation of Data Warehouse, and application integration solutions via Informatica and Oracle Essbase.

Strong understanding of DW, ETL, OLAP concepts, SQL queries and writing stored procedures.

At least 3 years' experience as a project lead, team lead, etc. with the ability to mentor others

Expert skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting data integration solutions; solid communication, interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills and a demonstrated ability for creative problem solving.
