Advanced Project Engineer – Defense and Space Projects

We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Aerospace team in Brno. You will be an active and integral part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program-specific performance within the Defense & Space environment. You will partner with world-class engineering and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

You will also generate innovative solutions, try different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities, and you will work closely with demanding customers such as Boeing, Airbus, British Aerospace Engineering, European Space Agency and many others.

Tasks

• Ensure project schedule and milestone development, coordination and management
• Maintain relationship with external customers
• Estimation development and analysis
• Cost development and budget analysis on a project
• Metric development and regular reporting to stakeholders and leadership
• Risk management
• Monitor project performance

Requirements

• University degree in an engineering field
• Technical background, preferably in electrical engineering domain
• 3-5 years experience in project engineering role (schedule and milestone development, project estimation, cost and budget estimation etc.)
• Advanced command of English language
