Location: Derby, DE21 6HB

Salary: Circa 32,000 + time saved bonus + overtime + benefits

Full Time and Permanent 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 8.30am-

5.00pm + Every Other Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm (Saturday s are paid as overtime at time and a half)

They are actively looking to recruit for a Panel Beater / Technician for their dealership in Derby, DE21 6HB.

Job Purpose:

To drive the standard in customer care. To undertake body repair and restoration work on all makes of motor vehicles, achieving the highest possible standards of workmanship. To maintain the highest standards of safety, and to meet all legislative and corporate standards. You ll demonstrate our clients Purpose, Principles, and Ambition (PPA) in all dealings with colleagues, customer and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the highest possible levels of body repair and restoration to all our clients customers.
  
• Work within the relevant protocols, as dictated by legislation, the company, E-scribe, Manufacturers or ATA Senior Technicians, at all times.
  
• Maintain comprehensive records, in an appropriate and timely fashion.
  
• Create and maintain a supportive culture for all colleagues.
  
• Commit to ongoing learning and development.
  
• Deliver all services in the most resource-effective manner possible.
  
• Demonstrates considerable skill and recognition as a vehicle body repair technician.
  
• Understands the needs of both customers and the company, and demonstrates
  
• this in their work.
  
• Takes ownership in all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective self management.
  

Requirements

• Ideally you will hold a NVQ Level 3 as a Panel Tech / Panel Beater or the equivalent ATA accreditation along with a welding certificate
  
• Demonstrable ability to manage processes, administration and paperwork
  
• Demonstrable understanding of the need to balance customer satisfaction and quality with safety and the financial demands of the business.
  
• Full driving license held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.
  
• Evidence of Right to work in the UK
