Quality Engineer

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
• or High school diploma plus 5 or more years of professional experience in a Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Quality related positions with a Manufacturing Lean or Green Belt certification.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Engineering degree/experience strongly preferred
• Manufacturing Quality experience
• Knowledge of Welding
• Manufacturing Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• High-level or expert with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Familiar with AutoCAD, 3D Solid Modeling and Creo
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Able to work independently
• Able to Travel outside of Kansas 5%
• Able to Travel inside of Kansas (i.e. day trips to suppliers and other facilities) 50%
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
