Attorney - Bankruptcy Litigation (34579)

Growing Houston area law firm seeks an experienced Bankruptcy Litigation Attorney to join their firm.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years corporate bankruptcy experience preferred; Complex Commercial Litigation experience required


• Admitted to practice in Texas and the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas (admitted to practice in other states and federal courts is a plus)


• Extensive experience in legal research and writing on both core bankruptcy matters and ancillary state law matters including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, fraudulent transfer, etc.


• Must be able to proficiently handle court appearances for all aspects of a creditor representation in Bankruptcy Court with minimal or no supervision


• Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize workload that may include several complex matters at one time
