Treasury/Bond Operations Specialist

Monitor and facilitate the settlement of securities transactions through the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and Government Securities through Custodian Bank of New York Mellon. Products include Corporate and Municipal Bonds and Government Issues in adherence to SEC, FINRA regulations.

Experience with Broadridge IMPACT, Bank of New York Mellon (BDC), DTCC Settlement Web, DTCC Portal including Clearing Dashboard, Obligation Warehouse, Corporate Actions Web, SMART/Track for Buy-ins and Smart Loan (FIS).

Job duties:

• Process daily activities for all Money Market, Foreign Exchange, REPO, Bonds, T-Bill, Commercial Paper, Certificate Deposit Issued, GIC's, FX OTC Options, Cap/Floor, Futures/Futures Options, Interest Rate Swap, Cross Currency Swap etc.
• Confirm transactions with customers. Process financial settlement for the transactions and notify the Incoming and Outgoing Payments.
• Coordinate settlement efforts with various settlement groups throughout the IB
• Assist in resolving settlement issues between back office, brokers and custodians stemming from corporate actions
• Analyze and resolve exceptions to facilitate the settlement of fails utilizing a variety of internal and external systems.
• Liaise with the Traders, Treasury, and Custodian Banks on all settlement matters to ensure timely and accurate settlement of transactions.
• Reconcile brokerage payments. Reconcile and submit the month-end reports.
