Market Operations Manager (Lykke Crypto Exchange)

Tasks

• Accurate and timely trade booking and settlements, ensuring tasks are prioritized accordingly to meet processing deadlines
• Accurate hedging and monitoring of Lykke Exchange trading activity
• Provide daily operational support including but not limited to trade entry, confirmations processing, settlements, and reconciliation
• Identify & manage initiatives to improve operational processes and reduce operational risk
• Monitor operational and risk metrics and escalate potential issues or anomalies
• Partner with our customer experience and content teams to continuously improve crypto-related customer communications
• Work closely with fraud and compliance teams to execute a robust AML and KYC program related to crypto
• Proactive communication while troubleshooting and resolving issues related to market-making, exchange operations and settlements

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree or at least 5 years of experience in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field
• Full understanding of different types of products, Crypto, OTC derivatives, Bonds, FX, futures, options and equities.
• Financial and technical knowledge is required, with an understanding of crypto/blockchain projects and products
• Understanding of the life cycle of the trade from execution to settlement
• Solid knowledge of Order Management Systems
• Understanding of operational risks and controls
• Analytical ability to evaluate the root causes of the problems and aptitude to understand complex workflows
• Able to manage variable workloads, understand the urgency, multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Strong teamwork ethic whilst also having the ability to function without explicit direction, challenge yourself to learn new things and continually improve
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Additional Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of SQL
• Recent and relevant experience in Trade Operations
• Experience manipulating and analyzing large raw data sets
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced team environment
