Title: Fleet Analytics Data Engineer
5+ years without industry certifications or 3+ with certifications
12 months duration to start with opportunity to extend through 9/30/2024
3+ years of experience with Weibull analysis
3+ years of experience with Fault tree analysis or 5 Whys analysis
Knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
Knowledge of failure analysis and trending analysis to optimize aircraft systems reliability, maintainability and availability
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance
Experience in data visualization tools Cognos, Power BI, Tableau
Proficient in Excel, SQL/Python.
Job Description
- Design reliability trend for availability and maintainability data for each fleet and each aircraft.
- Design and create various analytical reports and automated dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to identify and detect failure trends.
- Create a process for review of aircraft maintenance and aircraft status data from each fleet and each aircraft and provide data quality metrics dashboard.
- Design and automate comprehensive reliability and maintainability charts for each component in supporting the deficiency report's investigation.
- The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience using software and tools including big data tools like Kafka, Spark and Hadoop.
- Experience in object-oriented scripting languages including Scala, C++, Java and Python.
- Experience in Aircraft Reliability and Maintainability data.
- Google's Certified Professional-Data-Engineer certification.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Data Management and Analytics.
