Our client is building its very first BDR team, and this is an opportunity to be the first in the role, and develop and hone your sales skills!
The task at hand is ultimately nurturing relationships, and ultimately scheduling meetings for Account Executives, that translate into opportunities and new customers.
Responsibilities
- Daily 'activities' (50+ calls, 20+ emails/15+ LinkedIn touches), with the goal of scheduling meetings with prospects.
- Present the models to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Report to the BDR Leader on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Required skills and experience:
- 1+ year work experience as a Business/Sales Development Representative, preferred
- Eagerness to learn the craft of sales, but honing your prospecting and meeting setting abilities.
- Excited to perform daily activities (calls, emails, social connections) that lead to conversations and meetings.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt modern sales technology (CRM, sales enablement/engagement applications)
- Experience in a customer-facing, or educational capacity preferred. (Service industry, athletics, education, et.)
- College degree preferred.
