Financial Accountant with Native Level of Italian

Our client is a multinational insurance company with headquarters in Barcelona. Focused on managing business risk from a global perspective.

Tasks

As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

-Bookkeeping: restricted cash bank movements, accruals, prepayments, VAT and corporate tax, payroll, stock, equity, statutory adjustments, Intercompany transactions and related reconciliations.

-Preparation of balance sheets, validation/substantiation process and backup support identifying and resolving issues affecting the integrity of the ledger.

-Reconciliation of accounts with 3rd parties where appropriate

-Maintenance of secondary ledgers for local reporting requirements (US, Italy, Spain and UK GAAP)

-Support production financial statements in accordance with local accounting policies.

-Support production of Management Accounts, variance analysis, regulatory reporting, forecasts and KPIs

Provide support as requested by internal and external auditors

Improvement and documentation of controls and processes.

Requirements

You are the person we are looking for if:

- You have 2-3 years experience in accounting.

- You speak a native level of Italian.

- You speak English C1.
