Validation Engineer – Sensors (m/f/d)

To strenghen the international team in Belgium we re looking for you as a:

Validation Engineer Sensors (m/f/d)

In the medium sized business-unit you will be part of the design & validation team, which works on various off-the shelf and custom high-end CMOS image sensor projects.

Tasks

• On-boarding phase to learn about the client s image sensor technology;
• Validation of image sensor ICs: functional validation of sensor features, optimizing the sensor performance and verifying that the design meets the performance requirements;
• Understand and analyseDefining the requirements for the validation system, creating a validation plan and analyzing the measurement data;
• Creating measurement scripts to automate the validation process and discussing the results with the IC design engineers;
• Collaborating closely with a strong team of hardware, software and validation engineers with vast experience in image sensor technology.

Requirements

• Successful graduation (Bachelor/Master) in Engineering, Physics, Optics or a related technical field;
• Relevant experience in defining and executing validation campaigns on mixed-signal ICs;
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and practical experience in using and debugging hardware and software;
• Familiar in using Python to create well-structured and reusable measurement scripts;
• Practical experience and very good understanding of electronics and lab equipment usage;
• Motivated and willing to broaden your knowledge in validation and sensor technology;
• Very good spoken and written English skills.
