About Us

As a (Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/x) at KONUX, you will enable operational excellence and contribute to the fast growth of a scaling company in the AI space. You will provide legal advice to the whole organization on different legal topics, working closely with our Head of Legal. You will deal with a wide range of complex matters, spanning multiple domains from corporate law to contract law and IP, compliance as well as trade law. The role provides ample learning opportunities and requires you to take ownership and push projects to completion.

Your Impact

• You provide expert, risk, and strategic legal advice to all KONUX departments and collaborate closely with our leadership
• You work on various projects from supporting the set up of new international entities to establishing a self-service system for legal advice in the company
• You manage the public procurement process for large customer deals in different jurisdictions
• You support the execution of our IP strategy in a complex environment
• You review, draft, and sometimes help negotiate customer, supplier and partnership contracts in close cooperation with stakeholders in the responsible teams
• You provide legal training for different departments, you draft/rework and educate our team on corporate policies
• You support with various tasks around corporate housekeeping and governance, you assure conformity with applicable data protection laws (like GDPR), and you coordinate external legal advisors

Things you bring to the table

• You are curious to understand new technologies and you love working on a broad range of topics simultaneously
• You are organized, analytical, and pragmatic, you have business sense and a strong hands-on attitude
• You have a minimum of 4 years full-time work experience as a legal counsel in a start-up or a mid-sized company
• You are a German qualified lawyer (Volljurist/in bzw. Syndikusrechtsanwalt/-anw ltin)
• You have excellent knowledge in at least two areas out of contract, IP/IT (AI, SaaS), or tender law
• You are familiar with MS Office and/or G-Suite and will easily learn new tools (like Slack, Confluence etc.)
• You have full working proficiency in English and German
