Associate Editor (Marathi)

This is a remote position.

Requirements

What you will be doing :

• Help create accurate and high-quality copy across all publishing platforms.
  
• Lead team of editors to power our content platform
  
• Work to enhance the quality of our content within tight timelines.
  
• Work on AI-supported tools and an evolving CMS with nimbleness and agility
  
• Simplify communication and rework copy (as needed) for varying demographics.
  
• Edit copy for varying lengths and adhere to various platform-specific guidelines.
  
• Ensure alignment of content to brand requirements and tonality.
  

What is expected out of you :

• Proficient in Marathi with a prior background working with a Marathi media house in an editorial capacity
  
• Well-rounded knowledge of Marathi News and culture
  
• Passionate about content across categories (politics, business, sports, entertainment, tech, auto), across formats (video, infographic, short-form, memes, gifs) and platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Roposo).
  
• A professional with 7+ years of experience with a track record/qualifications/project work that demonstrates excellent language skills, and a passion for content and media.
