Senior Irrigation Engineer

Responsbilities:

• Reviews drawing & design for all irrigation tasks.
• Arranges coordination with other departments (infrastructure, design, construction, Business Development).
• Prepares the suitable irrigation programs and maintenance schedules for the irrigation systems in the city.
• Reviews technical specifications of bids for subcontracts Reviews and monitors Contractor Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Establishes volumes of work completed according to unit prices.
• Supervises the execution of works (subcontracted works and works executed under City management).
• Supervises staff that will be indicated to report to the incumbent Manages all other engineering related tasks as indicated by the supervisor of the incumbent.
• Ensures compliance with essential environmental regulations and regulations and good customs and practices related to workmen safety within guidelines established under the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
• This QAP is for project staff to control quality of the product on projects.
• Follows up on all the irrigation system and its connections with the PMS Handles verification of maintenance of on-site logbooks.
• Signs off on as built plans, drawings and bills of quantities.
