Scriptwriter - Social Studies

What you ll be doing

Scriptwriting: You will use the subject matter provided by the SMEs and translate it into an engaging storyline with characters, props, dialogues, and scenes

Story Telling & Visualization: You will also narrate your scripts to the creative team to help them develop storyboards for production, to presenters to help them understand your vision of the script.

Idea Generation: You will come up with innovative ideas to present the dullest of concepts and bring the mundane to life.

Revising and Editing: No script ever gets approved the first time. You have to get comfortable with seeking and incorporating feedback, multiple times.

Collaborating: You will be working with multiple teams storyboarders, SMEs, creative directors to deliver amazing scripts.

What are you responsible for?

You will be assigned one/more grades of content by your manager and will be responsible for the following parameters for that grade.

Engagement: All content that you Create must be engaging and gripping for the target audience it is created for

Consistency and Coherency: Each Script you write must be aligned to the previous scripts if they belong to the same chapter.

Timely shipping and Delivery: While we believe that creativity requires time, we expect you to respect the timelines which your team has set for the delivery of scripts.

Requirements

Are you the right person for the job?

Must-Have

You have basic knowledge of one of the following: History, Geography, Civics or Economics

You are willing to relocate to Bangalore

You have amazing storytelling skills

You are patient with editing and revising your work after feedback

You have excellent written and oral communication skills

You have a good knowledge of cinematic production / 2D Animation/ editing

Good to Have

Experience as a writer in an Ed-tech organization

Experience in Creative Content Visualization

Experience in Scriptwriting / Dramatics / Filmmaking
