Electrical Design Engineer (Drafter)

• Accountable for the preparation and production of electrical drawings to meet project specifications, budgets,
  
• Read and interpret site audit photos, technical drawings, schematics, termination wiring and scope of works to produce detailed design drawings in accordance with client standards
  
• Conduct research and apply relevant information found to generate electrical drawings.
  
• Prepare electrical drawings for electrical control systems using CAD software.
  
• Complete projects within budget and given.
  
• Ensure all projects completed conform to TEP, PEP and CAD Department Procedures.
  
• Identify and take action to mitigate risk in electrical design.
  
• Keep one-self updated on how the drawings are implemented in the field.
  
• Experience working with Autodesk drafting tools such as AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD Electrical.
  
• MicroStation, EPLAN knowledge will be desirable
  
• Advanced design and delivery expertise in electrical engineering, power systems and/or control systems engineering projects.
  
• Experience in Food and Beverages, Energy, Process Industries, Utilities, Heavy Industry (Steel, mining), Pharmaceuticals, Automobile, Packaging or Water Treatment
  
• Appropriate Engineering qualifications or verifiable industry experience working as a CAD Drafter.
  
• Demonstrable knowledge of good engineering practices and principles.
