Job Description:

- You will play a key role to follow procurement procedures


- Maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory


- Responsible for approving purchases in align with the management


- Collect quotation(s) from existing /approved suppliers based on the requirements of goods and services from different stakeholders


- Prepare the Purchase Order based on the approved Purchase Requisition and quotation and send the same to the supplier


- Ensure that the products and supplies are delivered to the stakeholders with high quality and on time


- Maintain an inventory control System for the goods purchases, stored and delivered which are properly recorded and accounted forMonitoring deliveries


- Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods Skills A clear, confident and concise communicatorWell-organised, good negotiator


- Able to set and work to tight deadlines Self-motivated and proactive takes the initiative to pre-empt opportunities Great at building strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers and suppliers Ethical and responsible


- Understands and adheres to McDonald s Standards of Business Conduct always

-Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role


-Good understanding of supply chain procedures


-Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g. JD oracle )Advanced knowledge of MS Excel


-Knowledge of market research.


Qualifications and Experience


1-3 years experience in international sporting events specifically in Venue Logistics.


Venue Logistics experience, ideally at Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, FIFA FWC, European Games, Olympic Games, Pan Am Games, or similar.


Strong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Fluency in English required, Arabic and additional languages are an added benefit.


A team player with a strong customer service focus, comfortable in both upward / downward communication and a desire to go the extra mile.


Ability to present and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude of public / private settings, as required.


Proven track record in managing complex projects, multi-tasking, and prioritisation of tasks and deliverables.


Willing to work to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude; exhibiting patience, persistence and experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.


Excellent analytical skills; ability to make decisions both independently and within a team environment


High attention to details.
