Position: Machine Operator

Location: Linden CA 95236

Duration: 11 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Onsite

Shift: Monday - Friday, up to 10 hours per day, must be willing to work Saturdays. These will be temp to hire for the right candidates.

Job Description:

• Experience working with a form-fill-seal bagger and automatic palletizer

• Safely operates equipment understanding LOTO procedures

• Responsible for inspection of line from scalper to hooder

• Able to verify screen sizes

• Perform all Clean, Inspect, Lubes

• Bring to the attention of foreman and maintenance any mechanical problems or concerns

• Make sure all quality parameters and procedures are met

• Inspection of magnets and inspect sharps coming off the magnet using the appropriate PPE.

• Fill out all MIPs using the tablet

• Utilize and fill out Centerline sheets

• Fill out production sheets for each production run

• Assist in repairs and maintenance as directed by maintenance personnel / foreman

• Complete roll changes

• Complete changeovers, includes organic clean out, excluding square bag setup

• Ownership Areas

• Line 1 - Pluronic System: mixing the batch for single or double pluronic

• Line 3 - Hooder: clear faults, and troubleshoot

• Basic Maintenance

• Change Side Seal Tape

• Change Top Seal Tape (high temperature needs to be cold to perform or change top seal. Time needed is 45 min-1 hour.)

• Put Belts back on

• Communicate to leadership when parts need replaced of rebuilt through inspections

• Belts

• Sensors to ensure they are working properly

• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation

• Understand daily production goals

• Fill out downtime correctly and accurately

• Use basic functions to restart Hooder
