Sales Engineer-Pipes

• Review all enquiries from the customer and prepare rapid and accurate quotations
  
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails
  
• Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  
• Gathering market and customer information
  
• Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  
• Negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
  
• Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
  
• Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office
  
• Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements
  
• Attending team meeting and sharing best practices with colleagues
  

Requirements

• University degree in mechanical engineering
  
• 5 years experience in similar position
  
• Experience working with outdoor Sales team
  
• Very good technical knowledge
  
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers
  
• Must be results orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate good presentation skills
  Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software
  
• Indian nationality (preferably speaking Tamil)
  
• Ability to join in our team immediately
