الوصف الوظيفي
- Supervises the Network Planning activities of assigned personnel in the Network Planning Department. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position.
- Directs and coordinates the planning of the next two season’s schedule. Includes taking into account customers’ schedule performance as researched and supplied by the field, the constraints due to resources departments, i.e. Engineering, Operations, Ground Handling, etc., route profitability goals of KAC, the fleet and route development plans of the airline. Studies, recommends and oversees implementation of changes to schedules whether resulting from unforeseen constraints or new opportunities, within long term and operational time frame
- Carries out the analysis and evaluation for the airline’s network environment, in relation to competition and industry structure. Includes controlling the analysis of KAC’s competitive position in the areas of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, to take account of changing competitive environment, general industry growth and decline cycles, changes in the regulatory systems and the trends towards deregulation/liberalization and alliances, etc. to gain a sound understanding of the environment against which market activities are taking place, and provides recommendations to supervisor, as appropriate.
- Plans, directs and Supervises controls the Network and Strategy Planning of the airline; such as planning KAC's production development and Route Performance evaluation activities. Works together with Schedules and Capacity Planning Division, includes assisting in the preparation of the corporate , demand and revenue forecasts, including the periodic audit. Directs the development of related systems and procedures to enhance KAC network and represent the corporation in international and regional industry organizations, as required, etc. Includes defining management objectives regarding network planning, directing the preparation of various market analyses, providing recommendations for new routes, connections, and shared routes with other airlines. Recommends pricing policies, directs the periodic market audits, etc.
