Cybersecurity Engineer - Contract role - US-Based/Remote

Access Global Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for a contract role that is fully remote-US Based.

Requires a strong collaborator with internal managers, leadership teams, and external resources as well.

This is a contract position, with an hourly rate

This role will be working across other Cyber areas like tracking cloud vulnerabilities, threat hunting, and platform cloud architecture. Must have experience in DevOps, CI/CD, System, and security architecture, Terraform, and infrastructure as a code. 100% Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role will be responsible for the management and configuration of the security settings for a WAF.
• Will be directly in charge of designing and engineering WAF solutions.
• They will also work across other Cyber areas like tracking cloud vulnerabilities, threat hunting, and platform cloud architecture.
• This is a hand's on the role and they will be working on Azure WAF.
• They will also own and maintain the WAF after it's deployed, and create SIEM dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor the security of network edge services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience deploying and configuring a WAF (Processes, configuration, scaling rulesets, etc)
• 2+ years of experience using and configuring a SIEM dashboard for use in monitoring a Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• 3+ years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Experience working in a Cloud Environment (Azure, GCP or Alibaba-Azure preferred)
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, System, and security architecture, Terraform, and infrastructure as a code is a MUST.
• Experience with Network security and engineering
