Job Description:

• Develops, researches, designs, implements, tests, and evaluates software and systems, in conjunction with hardware product development, that enable computers to perform their applications, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

• Acquires and prepares the data to be analyzed by Data Scientists.

• Integrates data from various resources and in different formats in an iterative and agile process exploring, combining, cleaning and transforming raw data into curated datasets for data integration, data science, data discovery and analytics/business intelligence use cases.

• Your data preparation is a critical activity in the data science workflow because it is important to avoid the propagation of data errors to the next phase, data analysis, as this would result in the derivation of wrong insights from the data.

• 5 years experience+

Previous experience:

• SQL and related querying languages

• Data aggregation and ETL

• Converting Data Science notebooks into reusable features and data pipelines

• MLFlow, Hadoop, Impala, FastAP

• familiarity with Docker containerization and Kubernetes.

• developing restful pythonic services

• implementing data science processes, e.g. sklearn functions, etc

• managing production microservices

• familiarity w/ CI/CD (notably Jenkins, Prefect, Spark), agile practices (SAFE, use of jira), expert w GIT (pref GITHUB)

• Unit/integration test ownership, document own code and production support critical

• familiarity w/ swagger/yaml strongly preferred

• knowledge Azure, cloud platforms advantageous
